Top Websites to Find Freelance Jobs

I have been working for freelancer for year, and freelance jobs is amazing for me. It pays me more than local job can pay. Some project even pay me $50-$100 for small problem solved. This amount does not too much in European country, but apply to our country is good.

Once you start branching out, you will be able to get significantly higher paying freelance jobs. If you provide good service to jobs clients or employees, you will get more rate and get lots of jobs. Not only work for work, but think about turning them into your clients.

1. Upwork

Upwork, formerly oDesk, is my first favorite freelancing site, because I first get jobs and work with. There are various type of job for beginners to professionals, with clients and employees around the world. You will see some jobs pay you small amount, but do not worry. If you first work there, what you should think first is not about money. It is your achievement. You need to complete some test related to you skill include English. Then go for betting project. Do not look for big project or high paying immediately, try to complete with small jobs first to get star to rank you among others freelancers. When you have good enough rank, you can start big project and turn them into your clients.

How to Works:

Sign up for an account on the site, then you can browse through thousands of jobs there.

Fill out profile and application for anything you like with samples and references. Do not just fill with anything you can’t do, because clients may contact you about jobs. Do not scam! Fill out your profile, with samples of your previous experience and references.

Do test related, your application there. But do not forget to do Upwork Readiness Test before you can apply for jobs.

If you get interviewed or hired to work, you can track your hours or project status on Upwork and then get paid directly through the site.

Link a payment option to your account, but you can do letter when you get first project.

What to remember:

Not to request upfront payment. No one is going to trust you to just give you their money.
If you don’t get a job right away.Take something cheaper than expected to gain experience and feedback. Experience and feedback is important for clients to decide to hire you or not.
Don’t forget to leave feedback after a project is complete. When you leave yours, your client’s will leave his/her feedback on your profile too.

Try to apply for something different.
